SUPER HERO OR DUST!

"He knows our frame, He remembers that we are dust." Psalm 103:14
"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." Genesis 2:7
God has not forgotten, nor will He ever forget our frame, he made us and he knows what we can or cannot do. Don't worry, even though it seems to be too much, God promises that He will not give us more than we can bear, but he also reminds us to cast our burdens upon Him because He knows how frail we are and how much we need Him. God reminds us because we forget. Today, I want to suggest something to you, sometimes we are the ones who forget what we are made of. Too often we think of ourselves much more higher than we ought, it is this prideful thinking that keeps us from turning to Him when we need Him the most. When we forget that we are just dust, refusing to accept that we can't do it all alone and refusing to turn to God for help, that is when life gets difficult and painful. He formed us out of dust of the earth, yet there are some out there that claim they are "Superman"! Able to do all the supernatural things that no one else could ever do! God knows what we can handle and what we can't, He is the one that formed us. It is us that has it all wrong.
Do we know what we can handle and what we can't? Stop trying to take on the whole world without His help. You can't do it alone!
Turn to Jesus today with all that you can't deal with, He knows your frame and understands it all much better than you! Turn it over to Him and give Him the opportunity to be your God, your source of power! Cast your burden on Him for he will sustain you! Psalm 55:22
