Infiniti reduces power to increase variety for customers

Infiniti G37 drivers are more than likely to be satisfied with their vehicle, but may change their tune once they see the new 2011 Infiniti G25 when the model is available in dealership lots later this year. Infiniti owners who need an automobile repair in Naples should stop by the showroom floor as they wait for their vehicle to be finished. Infiniti needs to ensure that they stay competitive among other top luxury brands, which is why they have planned to unleash the newest G model this fall.

The 2011 Infiniti G25 will serve as the car company’s entry model – a non-turbocharged, less powerful vehicle – which will still be equipped with Infiniti’s signature style and standard luxury features. When I was shopping for a new car about three years ago, I wasn’t very concerned with the power of the engine – I simply wanted something reliable, safe, and an exterior color that won’t show dirt very easily (although I ended up choosing a white vehicle, but that’s beside the point). Infiniti has recognized that many consumers have the same preferences – they want an affordable vehicle that will last longer than a few years, which is why the car company has unleashed its newest addition to the G family. Consumers who appreciate the finer things in life but do not need as much “oomph” under the hood will find a perfect fit with the 2011 Infiniti G25.

The new G25 is essentially a G37 in all aspects except power. The designers at Infiniti have equipped the G25 with standard features such as 17-inch alloy wheels, xenon headlights, leather seats, aluminum interior trim, power driver and passenger seats, and a six-speaker stereo system. Consumers may ask: “okay, so what is under the hood?” The 2011 Infiniti G25 will be powered by a 2.5L V6engine that produces 218 horsepower – a good 110 less horsepower than the G37; however, this significant drop will save consumers significant cash considering the G25 has a starting price of $30,950. Besides, 218 horsepower isn’t too shabby when you remember that it’s an entry-level Infiniti.

With five trims available, consumers will have plenty of options to choose from when purchasing the new G25. Infiniti owners who stop in for an automobile repair near Naples would be wise to test drive a 2011 G25 while at the dealership, and non-Infiniti owners should visit their local Infiniti dealer to check out the G25 as soon as possible to see if it is a suitable vehicle for them. While this new model packs less power, it still has the look and feel of the luxury brand name.
