Keep throwing the rock.
A parable on "forward again" (goals) by Kenneth Udut, 2-2-2003
You pick up a rock and throw it forward.
Far, far you throw it.
Then you walk up to get it.
You are working towards your goal that you set.
But once you arrive at the rock and pick it up, you will not be able to say, "AH! I HAVE ARRIVED! I AM FINISHED", for then you will be standing still.
You also cannot spend too much time looking backwards at the places where you picked up the past rocks, for then you will be standing still, stagnating while you are fcusing n the past, saying, "OH, THAT ROCK TWO THROWS AGO WAS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS ROCK!"
Instead, pick up the rock in front of you and throw it,....
...far, far you throw it.
And start walking...
forward again.
