Listen to His Voice!

"After this I looked, and behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter."
HEY!!! HEY!!! EVERYONE LISTEN!!! This is what a trumpet might say when it talks to us. Very loud it can be, but really, doesn't it have to be this way? What will it take to get the attention away from us and our world so that we might focus on Jesus? The blowing of the trumpet is not a new thing. Hosea 8:1 tells us to set the trumpet to our mouth! and Jeremiah 6:17 reads "I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, we will not hearken." Revelation 1:10 reads, "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet." How much louder does it have to be before we will listen? In the days of famine and difficulty turn to Jesus, hear his voice, and focus all of your attention on him. Jesus is sending us all a message with the conditions of the world right before our eyes. Can you see it? Does the trumpet have to get any louder than this? Will we all hearken to his voice and receive him in our life today and begin to work together to get things done?
Some might say, "What's the use? Everything is too far gone!" While others might say, "What can I do? I want to help!" For those that say, "What's the use" the trumpet will only get louder and for those that say, "What can I do" they have heard the trumpet and will see the Lord!
