Irritant contact dermatitis

Corticosteroids medication is prescribed to combat inflammation in a localized area. This medication can be applied to the skin as a cream or ointment. Antihistamines are another medication prescribed for the treatment of skin infection. Many effective antifungal creams can be brought including 1 % clotrimazole (Mycelex, Lotrimin) and 1 % terinafine (Lamisil).
